Our garden is taking off with all the rain we have been having! Our deck has a variety of pots with food growing in it. Here is my "cut-and-come-again" salad box.
We've also got herbs and peppers, tomatoes, and melons.
The cucumbers are now even bigger than this.
And we've eaten our first ripe tomato.
Cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, dill, and lettuce.
Beans, lettuce, and peas.
Broccoli and beets. We have broccoli almost daily. The kids love it roasted.
Kesten's sunflowers are now almost as tall as me.
Our purple podded pole peas have been a lot of fun!
Asparagus and basil
Jerusalem artichokes, garlic, and onions.
Carrots and kale
Our playhouse had some renos done! It has been getting daily use.
I made a little kitchen inside and the kids love it! The go to the garden to pick peas and dill, and bring it back to their kitchen to "cook" it and eat it.
The raspberries are ripe now.
We have a bumper crop of sour cherries this year!
Dinner provided by the garden.
And some sour cherry crumb cake for dessert.
